This site is dedicated to the memory of Fiona Semple.

As most of you already know by now my wife Fiona lost her 4 year battle against breast cancer on the 5th of March 2010 aged 53. The last week of Fiona's life was spent in the Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice in Carlton Place Glasgow. I can only describe the care given to Fiona as second to none. Nothing was too much for any of the staff, whose only focus was to make Fiona as comfortable as humanly possible during her last days. The Hospice to this day still gives support to the family through counselling etc. The PPWH recieves only about a third of their funding through the NHS, it is only through the efforts of families & volunteers & fund raisers that their budget can be achieved. For the purpose of helping give something back my brother in law Alex Wright and myself walked the west highland way. Gary & his friend Rob ran the Dublin Marathon in 3hrs 38 and 3 hrs 29 respectively - well done guys. I would also like to thank my daughter Victoria and her friends Adele, Georgina, Mary, Rowan, Gemma & Louise for running the race for life for Breast Cancer and thanks to Andrea Clark who ran the Glasgow 10K for the Hospice and also Mellisa in America for walking the walk for life also for Breast Cancer. Thanks to all who sponsored us it is greatly appreciated and you can be sure it is for a very worthwhile cause. Please keep ideas & donations comming. many thanks Walter Semple
